Important: 3G Network Closure

The Australian Government has mandated that, starting late October 2024, devices that are not compatible with emergency calling on 4G networks will be blocked from accessing voice, SMS, and data services once the final 3G networks are decommissioned. Most at risk are older 4G devices and devices that were purchased overseas. This regulation will be enforced across all mobile providers in Australia.

If your device is not compatible with emergency calling on 4G networks it will be blocked from using all services by 31 October, 2024 and you will need to replace it with a compatible handset.
