Thuraya Network Closure Refunds
If you purchased your Thuraya phone within the last 24 months, and you do not
wish to migrate to another Pivotel service, you may be eligible for a refund.

If you return your Thuraya phone in good working order by 31/07/2024 we will refund you as follows:
Purchase Date | Refund Value |
After 16/10/2023 | 100% of RRP at time of purchase, or price paid. Whichever is lower. |
16/04/2023 – 15/10/2023 | 75% of RRP at time of purchase, or price paid. Whichever is lower. |
16/04/2022 – 15/04/2023 | 50% of RRP at time of purchase, or price paid. Whichever is lower. |
Thuraya phone must be returned to qualify for refund. The Thuraya handset being returned must include at least 1x Handset, 1x Battery, 1x AC Wall Charger, and be able to turn on and off, charge, extend and retract the antenna and exhibit no visible signs of physical damage. Thuraya phone return must include Proof of Purchase showing purchase date to qualify for refund. Cost of returning the handset to Pivotel and any deinstallation will be borne by the customer.
Service Refunds
If you have a credit balance in your Pivotel Billing Account, we will arrange a refund for you. You don’t have to do anything now. If you pay by direct debit, we will process the refund to the Credit Card or Bank Account you use for Direct Debit. If we are unable to process a refund this way, we will contact you about your refund within 60 days or sooner.
