Pivotel’s ecoSphere® networks are private wireless networks that are designed specifically to meet the coverage and connectivity requirements of a property, region or community.

Using ecoSphere®, a single base station can cover an area of up to 30,000 hectares, or a 10 kilometre radius, depending on the topography and ground cover, allowing users to embrace the latest connected solutions anywhere within the coverage area. Multiple base stations can be deployed and daisy-chained to cover significantly larger areas.

  • Depending on topography and ground cover, the radial coverage achieved from a single base station can be up to 15km or cover an area of up to 70,000 hectares
  • Base stations are located at strategic points around a property and are connected back to the EPC via microwave links or in-band LTE transmission
  • Linked LTE base stations can expand coverage to hundreds or thousands of hectares
